Content creator and social media influencer Lucky Udu has come forward with a jaw-dropping tale involving Nedu, the popular OAP and former host of The Honest Bunch Podcast. And trust me, this story has more twists than a Nollywood thriller.

This revelation adds fuel to the already sizzling controversy surrounding the podcast, which has been in a verbal wrestling match with social media critic VeryDarkMan.

In a leaked audio recording, Lucky Udu shared how he tried to get on the podcast to clear his name after GehGeh allegedly dragged him with some wild accusations. But instead of a friendly "come-through" invite, he got what sounded like a reality TV audition.

Apparently, Nedu dismissed Lucky’s request faster than a Nigerian aunty rejects "I'm not hungry" from a visiting child. According to Udu, Nedu said he could only come on the show if he agreed to a live showdown with GehGeh. Yes, a full-on "Celebrity Deathmatch" moment, podcast edition.

But Lucky wasn’t having it. He turned down the offer, saying he had no interest in supporting toxic vibes.

And then came the secret agent moment. Nedu reportedly warned Lucky not to share their conversation with anyone. Spoiler alert: that didn’t age well.

Sharing his frustration, Lucky said:

"You remember that period when people said ‘if Lucky Udu post you, your own don go?’ I lost a lot of opportunities. Brands dissociated from me, and my manager suggested going to The Honest Bunch Podcast.

"Eventually, we got on a call with Nedu and immediately, he said, ‘I don’t know you, never seen your content before, and frankly, I don’t care.’ He said he’d gone through my platform and believed every single thing GehGeh said about me.

"Then he told me to humble myself and get to Lagos ASAP because GehGeh was also coming on the show. He wanted me to confront GehGeh live. I said no because I’m not here to promote bad behavior.

"He was rude. He said I should bury my face in shame and not tell anyone about our conversation. He even warned me that I wouldn’t like him if I ever spoke about it."

Whew! Talk about turning a podcast pitch into a thriller plot.

As expected, social media is buzzing with mixed reactions. While some applaud Lucky for standing his ground, others are questioning why he spilled the beans if he was warned not to. Either way, one thing’s for sure—this podcast drama is serving hot tea, and everyone’s sipping. ☕🔥
