After much fanfare, the Kaduna state Caucus of SDP said El Rufai has not formally picked up a membership form & is not a registered member of the Party.
El Rufai said he was fed up with APC because of it's Undemocratic tendencies & diversion away from its progressive principles.
Following the Supreme Court's judgement on Rivers Decampmen, it is clear that all decamping politicians should not only remove themselves from the membership register of their former party & formally join their new party.
Which requires registering at the party's ward level and following its registration procedure.
As it stands, El Rufai's public decampment is no different from Martins Amaewhule's decampment from PDP to APC is ineffective. We better check to see if he is still paying his APC dues
Where is the transparency of El Rufai's decampment. Can he make public his SDP membership card.
El Rufai has been accused of being an Ardent Unrepentant Sectional Islamist.
How ironic, El Rufai chooses to make his public announcement of joining SDP together with Al Mustapha; Abacha's Cheif henchman, closely associated with the murder of Kudirat Abiola, wife of origional SDP candidate MKO Abiola
These factors, along with the perception of his high handedness, pro Fulani, anti Shihite & and anti-Christian ideology, are likely to be a liability for SDP
Having publically joined forces with PDP's Forever Candidate Alhj Abubakar Atiku. One wonders what kind of alliance El Rufai is cooking up, especially as he said he will never join PDP.
Peter Obi is learning it's not enough to join a political party as an SPV towards being elected Pres, you have to join with a host of party members to swell the ranks & take full control of the party.
Does El Rufai have the followership, gravitas & capacity to do this in Kaduna, let alone nationally. Is he hoping to use Atiku's resources to achieve his planned aim of unseating Pres Tinubu.
Atiku has made public his intention to run in 2027 but is unsure about the party structure he will use to achieve his lifelong ambition.
With the confusion & commotion in the comatose Peoples Dead Party (PDP), Atiku running for a 3rd time in a row may be a dead rubber. Money can't buy you love, but it can certainly buy you PDP presidential ticket. Just ask FCT Minister Wike, lol 😆

Has Marie Le Penn done anything different to what our Demigod Executhieve Govrs & Minting Money Ministers, in diverting Govt funds to support their Party Structures be it APC, PDP, APGA, LP or NNPP.
Whether Fubara, Wike, Akpabio Tinubu, Obianna, Sanwo Olu, Soludo, El Rufai, Yahaya Bello, Fayose, Oti or Mimiko etc, all are alleged to have diverted huge amounts of state funds to support party activities.
Why are our opposition, their media lackies, CLO's, concerned Nigerians & so called Human Rights Servants Against Nigerians, and SAN masquerading as Senior Advocates of Nigeria bending over backwards to defend Suspended Gov. Fubara.
In the light of stunning revelations of Fubara's complicity in mastermining the burning & demolition of Rivers State Hse of Ass and plans to bring down Pres Tinubu's government by his former Head of Service (HoS), George Nwaeke. Points butressed by the Supreme Court.
Govr Fubara, for his part, says this is part of sponsored propaganda & character assassination, citing WhatsApp messages with Fubara's Chief of Staff, Ederson Ehie of Nwaeke requesting funds and support in exchange for his loyalty.
Independent minded persons may consider Nwaeke's request a request for hush money. This begs the question, what was Nwaeke covering up? Rivers wahala never finish o may it not turn to Rivers of Blood.
