Jude Okoye, elder brother and former manager of the iconic P-Square duo, has regained his freedom after spending more than two months in the custody of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
The news of his release sparked a wave of celebration—especially from his younger brother, Paul Okoye (Rudeboy), who took to Instagram with a pointed and emotional message.
Jude is finally out after 2 months+. All their efforts to frustrate his bail have finally collapsed. Welcome home brother @judeengees. And happy birthday, Paul wrote in his Instagram story.
He also shared a touching video of Jude being embraced by his wife, Ifeoma, in an emotional reunion.
Paul's message, while celebratory, carried an unmistakable undertone—reportedly aimed at his twin brother, Peter Okoye, who is said to have filed the petition that led to Jude’s legal troubles.
Jude Okoye had been arraigned by the EFCC on charges bordering on alleged money laundering involving ₦1.38 billion, $1 million, and £34,537.59. He was charged alongside his company, Northside Music Limited, in a seven-count indictment. Jude has strongly denied all allegations.
Although bail was granted on March 6, he remained in custody until now due to delays in meeting bail conditions.
