Elon Musk reacts on X to the arrest of former judge allegedly linked to gang-affiliated migrant case.

Taking to his X (formerly Twitter) account, Musk described the incident as a “ridiculously obvious case of judicial corruption,” adding that while most instances of judicial misconduct are just as severe, they often remain unnoticed.

This is a ridiculously obvious case of judicial corruption.

The vast majority of judicial corruption is just as severe, but not as obvious, Musk posted.

According to Fox News, the couple faces charges of evidence tampering after allegedly housing Cristhian Ortega-Lopez, an undocumented Venezuelan migrant believed to be affiliated with the Tren de Aragua gang an infamous and violent criminal network operating across Latin America and parts of the U.S.

Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem commented on the situation, stating:

Under President Trump, we have arrested over 150,000 illegal aliens including more than 600 members of the vicious Tren de Aragua gang.

If you are here illegally and break the law, we will hunt you down, arrest you, and lock you up. That’s a promise.

Investigators revealed that Ortega-Lopez was initially hired by Nancy Cano for home repair work before being allowed to live in the couple’s guesthouse. Authorities later uncovered gang-related clothing, tattoos, voicemails, and text messages linking him to Tren de Aragua.

Court documents state that Ortega-Lopez illegally entered the U.S. via Eagle Pass, Texas, on December 15, 2023, without undergoing inspection or securing legal authorization.

This is a ridiculously obvious case of judicial corruption.
