Lagos socialite Pretty Mike has once again stirred up conversation this time with a surprising revelation about his attendance at the star-studded #JP2025 wedding.

In a candid Instagram post, Pretty Mike revealed that Iyabo Ojo, mother of the bride Priscilla Ojo, personally asked him to tone down his signature dramatic entrance for the ceremony. Her partner, Paulo Okoye, reportedly echoed the request, asking him to keep things modest in light of the visiting Tanzanian in-laws and the couple’s desire to keep the spotlight on love, not spectacle.

Pretty Mike shared:

“My sister, the bride @its.priscy said I should bring the heat tonight…

The bride’s mother @iyaboojofespris saw me some days back and begged me not to come in a ‘wired’ way — said her in-laws think she’s already wacko enough.

Her sugar daddy aka Obim @pauloo2104 also called, asked me to tune it down a bit… but still give them a show.

Some of my sisters in the bridal train are hyping me to scatter everywhere, while others are subtly warning, ‘Abeg, don’t chase our Tanzanian in-laws away.’”

He humorously concluded his message with:

“Dear Tanzanian in-laws, you didn’t just marry our sister and daughter — you married an entire nation. You’ll have to take us as we come.”

Known for turning heads with outlandish entrances — from human “pets” on chains to coffin-themed entourages — Pretty Mike has built a reputation as Lagos’ king of spectacle. But at #JP2025, even he had to play it somewhat cool.
