A viral cartoon illustrating how kids, dads, and moms supposedly handle sick days has stirred up major debate online  and Nigerian rapper Odumodublvck isn’t buying into the message.

The image shows a child resting in bed, a father knocked out on the couch, and a visibly ill mother still doing housework while carrying a child. The takeaway? Moms push through, even when they're unwell.

But Odumodublvck pushed back against what he sees as a misleading and harmful stereotype.

THIS IS ONE OF THE FALLACIES THAT HAS EATEN DEEP INTO OUR BRAINS FOR A VERY LONG TIME. HOW CAN SUCH A LIE BE HELD IN HIGH ESTEEM,” he wrote in a tweet.

His reaction has sparked further discussion around gender roles, expectations, and the glorification of overwork   particularly among mothers.
