Cassie Ventura, 38, was recently seen in New York City amid her pregnancy, just days before jury selection began in the federal trial of her ex, Sean “Diddy” Combs.

The singer and actress, who is expecting her third child with husband Alex Fine, was photographed on May 7 showing off her growing baby bump during a visit to a friend. Cassie appeared relaxed, casually chatting on her phone while standing on a front porch.

Her public appearance comes as Diddy faces serious federal charges, including sex trafficking, racketeering, and the transportation of individuals for the purpose of engaging in prostitution. Authorities allege that the music mogul coerced female victims into participating in sexual acts under duress. Combs has pleaded not guilty to all charges.

In a recent development, a judge ruled that a 2016 surveillance video showing Combs physically assaulting Cassie in a Los Angeles hotel hallway can be admitted as evidence. Prosecutors argued that the footage first made public last year demonstrates a pattern of violent behavior and supports the claims of his alleged victims, according to NBC News.

Cassie and Diddy were in an on-again, off-again relationship for more than a decade before their split in 2018.
