New evidence has been presented to jurors in the ongoing trial of music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs, currently facing charges of sex trafficking and racketeering in Manhattan federal court.
During proceedings on Tuesday and Wednesday, May 21, jurors were shown dozens of photographs captured during a March 24, 2024, raid of Combs’ Miami Beach mansion. The search was carried out by Homeland Security agents months before the music executive was arrested.
Shocking Contents Revealed
Among the items discovered were:
Parts of AR-15 semi-automatic rifles
Ammunition and a .45-caliber handgun
Various controlled substances, including MDMA, cocaine, and ketamine
A cache of 25 bottles of baby oil and 30 bottles of Astroglide lubricant
Food-grade nitrous oxide canisters (“Whip-Its”)
Sex toys, including multiple dildos, BDSM gear, lingerie, and high heels
One particularly striking photo displayed a shelf inside the master closet, containing red stiletto heels and a sex toy. Special Agent Gerard Gannon of the Homeland Security human trafficking unit narrated the presentation of evidence over two days of testimony.
Inspirational Messages on Bathroom Mirror
Photos also showed handwritten affirmations scrawled across the bathroom mirror in Combs' lavish, marble-tiled suite. Messages such as:
“You a legend”
“You’re an icon Puff Daddy”
“Upward Motion”
“What Do You WANT?”
It remains unclear whether Combs himself wrote the messages.
Details of the Raid
Gannon testified that 80 to 90 agents participated in the raid on the Star Island property, home to many celebrities and high-profile individuals. He recounted that an armored vehicle was used to breach the mansion’s front gate.
Simultaneously, Combs’ residence in Holmby Hills, Los Angeles, was also searched by federal agents.
The Allegations
Federal prosecutors allege that Combs, 55, operated a criminal enterprise for over a decade, with the help of employees. The accusations include:
Coercing drugged women into sex acts with escorts
Recording the encounters while allegedly pleasuring himself
Combs has pleaded not guilty to all charges. The case continues in Manhattan federal court.
