The moment occurred on Sunday, June 22, when the singer pulled out what appeared to be a cigarette mid-performance and playfully mimed puffing on it as part of the act.

The Paris stop marked the last of three sold-out shows in the city. To top off the evening, Beyoncé brought out her husband, rapper Jay-Z, for a surprise appearance.
