The plaintiff, Brandon Adams, alleges he was invited to the Los Angeles party by a chauffeur he met at a gas station. According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Adams claims that upon arrival, he was asked to leave his phone in the car and noticed several celebrities at the gathering, though he did not interact with them. After consuming alcohol, he says he began feeling dizzy.
Adams alleges that he found an empty bedroom to lie down and later regained consciousness to find someone unbuckling his belt. He claims he heard a voice—believed to be Diddy—say, “You’re about to get that Diddy love,” before being physically violated. He further alleges that when he attempted to resist, the assailant referenced personal details from his ID, which had reportedly been scanned by security earlier.
Following the incident, Adams claims he was escorted to another room by security and given a choice to either leave quietly or face consequences. He alleges he was then forced to sign a nondisclosure agreement before being removed from the premises. On his way home, he was reportedly arrested for DUI, which he attributes to unknowingly consuming substances at the party.
The lawsuit accuses Diddy of sexual assault, battery, and gender-based violence, and seeks damages. Adams is represented by attorney Tony Buzbee, who is currently representing several alleged victims of Combs. However, none of Buzbee’s clients have testified in Diddy's ongoing criminal case.
Diddy’s legal team issued a statement in response:
“No matter how many lawsuits are filed, it won’t change the fact that Mr. Combs has never sexually assaulted or trafficked anyone—man or woman, adult or minor. We live in a world where anyone can file a lawsuit for any reason. Fortunately, a fair and impartial judicial process exists to find the truth, and Mr. Combs is confident he will prevail in court.”
This lawsuit is the latest in a series of legal challenges facing the Bad Boy Records founder.
