The federal sex trafficking trial of music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs entered its fifth week on Monday, June 9, with a key witness identified in court as “Jane Doe”resuming her testimony. The social media influencer alleges that Combs physically abused her and coerced her into unprotected sex with adult film actors and escorts over the course of their three-year relationship.

Taking the stand once again, Jane Doe offered emotional and disturbing testimony, describing what prosecutors say was a pattern of control, violence, and sexual exploitation orchestrated by Combs. She previously broke down in court while recounting episodes of prolonged, drug-fueled group sex gatherings, referred to by Combs as “freak-offs” a central element in the government’s case.

Prosecutors allege that Combs, 55, used his fame, power, and wealth to run a multi-year scheme involving manipulation and coercion. His alleged victims include Jane Doe, singer Cassie Ventura, and other women, who were reportedly subjected to physical abuse, psychological control, and sexual exploitation.

Combs has pleaded not guilty to multiple federal charges, including sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation for prostitution. If convicted, he could face a life sentence.

Due to federal courtroom rules, the trial is not being televised, but daily updates have revealed harrowing details of the alleged abuse.

Disturbing Messages and Voice Notes Revealed in Court

During Monday’s session, the court reviewed a series of text messages Jane Doe sent to Combs in late 2023, pleading for the abuse to stop.

“I’m not a porn star. I’m not an animal,” she wrote in one message.
“I need a break. I don’t want to do anything. I’ve hit a wall,” read another from October 2023.

Through tears, Jane Doe told the jury she felt "dehumanized and used," explaining that her texts referred to no longer wanting to give her body away against her will.

In a separate message from September 2023, she expressed a growing awareness of her situation:

“I don’t want to be used and locked in a room to fulfill your fantasies… I don’t want to feel obligated to keep performing these nights with you out of fear of losing the roof over my head.”

Despite these pleas, Combs allegedly ignored her concerns. In one voice note played for the jury, he reportedly said:

“This is a true open relationship, why do you have to make it a problem? I’m sick in bed.”

In another series of messages from August 2023, Combs allegedly pressured Jane Doe to send him explicit videos, even while he was with another woman. When she hesitated, he allegedly replied:

“Just do what I say, please. I’m horny… Stop it, don’t say no to me, please.”

As the case unfolds, more witnesses and evidence are expected to be presented in the coming days. The trial, which has captivated national attention, centers on serious allegations of abuse, trafficking, and exploitation involving one of the most powerful figures in the music industry.

Combs and his legal team continue to deny all allegations, maintaining that the relationship was consensual and that the charges are unfounded.
