Football icon David Beckham has been hospitalized following an undisclosed injury.

His wife, Victoria Beckham, 51, shared a photo on Instagram showing the former Manchester United and Real Madrid star lying in a hospital bed, wearing a medical gown and arm sling. She captioned the post, “Get well soon, Daddy.”

The 50-year-old appears to have sustained an arm injury, as he was also seen wearing a blue sling in another image. A second photo showed him wearing a friendship bracelet with beads spelling out, “Get well soon,” in a style reminiscent of Taylor Swift’s fan culture.

The hospital visit comes shortly after Beckham was awarded a knighthood in the King’s Birthday Honours list earlier this month.
