Pastor Paul Adefarasin on Monday, June 17, reported to the Lagos State Police Command for questioning over a viral video showing him holding what appeared to be a gun-like object while driving an unregistered vehicle.

The video, which has sparked widespread reactions online, shows the popular Lagos pastor allegedly pointing the object at an individual who was filming him.

Confirming the development, the command’s spokesperson, CSP Benjamin Hundeyin, stated that Pastor Adefarasin voluntarily turned himself in and is currently being interrogated by detectives.

Hundeyin added that the outcome of the investigation will be made public upon conclusion.

Meanwhile, Pastor Adefarasin has denied owning or handling any firearm.
