The final wish of Nigerian billionaire philanthropist, Alhaji Aminu Alhassan Dantata, to be buried in the holy city of Madina has been granted by the Saudi Arabian government.

In a brief statement posted on Facebook, the late businessman’s secretary, Mustapha Abdullahi Junaidu, confirmed that official approval had been secured to transport Dantata’s remains from Abu Dhabi to Madina for burial in accordance with his final request.

“Praise be to God, praise be to God, praise be to God. Approval has been obtained to transport Aminu Alhassan Dantata from Abu Dhabi to Madina. The funeral prayer will be held tomorrow (Monday) morning, God willing,” Junaidu wrote.

Dantata passed away on the night of Friday, June 27, in a hospital in Abu Dhabi after a brief illness. He was 94 years old
