Nollywood filmmaker Ugezu Ugezu has openly criticized former presidential aide Reno Omokri over his continued campaign against Labour Party’s Peter Obi.

In a post shared on his Instagram page, Ugezu described Reno’s decision to “demarket” Peter Obi online as one of the most dangerous political undertakings in Nigeria’s history. He warned that such a role carries consequences that may haunt Reno for years.

“Accepting the job to demarket Peter Obi is the most dangerous job ever accepted by any mortal in the history of Nigeria’s shady politics,” Ugezu wrote. “Even the universe is against him. He may not recover from the self-induced ruins.”

The filmmaker further stated that those who know the truth but deliberately remain silent are inviting their own downfall.

Reno Omokri has consistently voiced his opposition to Peter Obi’s presidential ambition, often taking to social media to criticise the former Anambra State governor and his supporters. He has also publicly pledged to campaign against Obi in future elections.
