Relationship therapist and social media personality Blessing CEO has shared an emotional video addressing why many people find it difficult to experience love, attributing it to past trauma and negative conditioning.

In the heartfelt video posted on Instagram, she encouraged her followers to embark on a journey of self-healing, emphasizing that being “damaged” is not an insult but often the result of unprocessed pain.

“A lot of you are damaged. When you’re damaged, everything beautiful feels too good to be true,” she said.

Speaking directly to those who have grown skeptical of genuine love due to past experiences, Blessing highlighted how social media and blog content often filled with chaos, heartbreak, and scandal condition people to expect the worst, even in new relationships.

“The reason you’re damaged is because you fail to take the lessons from your experiences. Once you extract the lessons, you find peace,” she added.

She urged viewers to stop generalizing based on one bad encounter, reminding them that not all men are wicked and not all women are wicked our choices in partners shape our experiences.

Drawing from personal reflections and scriptural references, Blessing concluded with a powerful reminder:

“Love is beautiful. The only problem is, you don’t believe you deserve it. But you do.”
