Following the news that American music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs was acquitted of three out of five charges in his high-profile sex trafficking trial, longtime critic and fellow rapper 50 Cent wasted no time reacting.
Taking to Instagram shortly after the verdict, 50 Cent (real name Curtis Jackson) shared a photo of himself along with the caption:
“Diddy beat the Rico, that boy a bad man! He like the Gay John Gotti.”
The post quickly ignited reactions online, as the G-Unit boss continued his ongoing public commentary on Diddy’s legal troubles. Throughout the case, 50 Cent has remained vocal, previously weighing in on jury deliberations and even teasing a forthcoming Netflix docuseries based on the allegations against Diddy.
Combs, who faced the possibility of life imprisonment if convicted on all charges, reportedly broke down in court after the partial acquittal. He was found not guilty of racketeering and two counts of sex trafficking, but was convicted on two lesser charges related to the transportation of women for prostitution.
