Vice President Kashim Shettima paid a private visit to former President Muhammadu Buhari in London, where the ex-president is receiving medical treatment.

Buhari, who was reportedly admitted to intensive care, is said to be out of critical condition and recovering well.

According to sources, Shettima traveled to London on Sunday night, June 29, and visited Buhari the following morning, June 30. During the same trip, he also met with former Head of State, General Abdulsalami Abubakar.

When contacted about the visit, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Communications (Office of the Vice President), Stanley Nkwocha, confirmed that the Vice President was in London, emphasizing that it was strictly a private trip.
