Prince Rakeem Mkambala, the newborn son of Nollywood star Priscilla Ojo and Tanzanian singer Juma Jux, has become an instant online sensation after his Instagram page amassed over 50,000 followers within just an hour of launch.

His grandmother, popular actress Iyabo Ojo, announced the birth on social media with a heartfelt photo of Priscilla and her baby at the hospital, confirming that both mother and child are in good health. She also revealed that an official Instagram account had been created for her grandson.

Within the first 30 minutes, the page had already gathered more than 36,000 followers, and shortly afterward, the number surged past 55,000.

The rapid growth sparked mixed reactions online. While many fans congratulated the family and celebrated the baby’s arrival, others criticized Nigerians for what they described as misplaced priorities.

One X user, @your_Favxparte, wrote: “36,400 mumu and jobless people. Na Tinubu and the likes really fit them.” Another, @workof_Godd, added: “Nigerian people too mumu 😂.”

Regardless of the criticism, baby Rakeem is already making headlines as one of the fastest-growing celebrity Instagram accounts in Nigeria.
