Big Brother Naija star Ijeoma Josephina Otabor, better known as Phyna, has sparked conversations online after a video emerged showing her enjoying a night out at a nightclub, just weeks after the tragic passing of her younger sister, Ruth Otabor.

Ruth’s death followed a devastating accident involving one of billionaire Aliko Dangote’s trucks in Edo State, an event that drew widespread sympathy for the Otabor family.

Shortly after Ruth’s burial, footage circulated online showing Phyna socialising and dancing with friends at a club in Abuja. The video quickly attracted attention, with many social media users commenting on her demeanor, outfit, and the company she kept that night.

In the clip, Phyna appeared cheerful and lively, enjoying herself in what seemed to be a high-end nightlife setting in the nation’s capital.

The outing comes not long after Phyna revealed that Dangote’s team had reportedly provided ₦20 million in compensation to her family following the fatal incident in Benin City.

While some critics felt it was too soon for her to be seen partying, others defended her, noting that grief is a personal experience and people cope with loss in different ways.
