British YouTuber and BMX rider Ryan Taylor has broken his silence about his short-lived engagement to Nigerian DJ and billionaire heiress Florence Otedola, popularly known as DJ Cuppy.

Speaking on the Ladders Podcast, the 32-year-old revealed that major differences in values and perspective were at the heart of their breakup.

“Is it weird that I told you she didn’t like Nigerians? She came into my business and didn’t even want Nigerian staff,” he said.

Taylor, who proposed to Cuppy in December 2022 after dating for less than a month, explained that there were no contracts or NDAs between them and that he walked away with only life lessons.

“To be honest, what I got from that was lessons. Everything that happens, happens for a reason. But do I regret it? No. Lesson learned. Next!”

Reflecting further, he added:

“I learned that money is not everything, but not having it is.”

The couple’s whirlwind romance made headlines worldwide in late 2022, but speculation of a split began months later after fans noticed they had unfollowed each other on Instagram.
