The drama surrounding Nollywood actor Yul Edochie and his second wife, Judy Austin, seems far from over as new claims about family fallout and another alleged affair continue to make rounds online.

According to Nollywood producer Stanley Ontop, the Edochie family has allegedly “disowned” Yul over what they describe as repeated embarrassment and “reproach” to the family name. Stanley also alleged that Yul is now romantically involved with another woman apart from Judy.

In a post that has since gone viral, Stanley wrote:

“Ismili family have dissociated themselves from their aboriginal son, Yulian, for bringing shame and reproach to the Edo family. Julian is about to be dumped into a bin… There’s another feminine structure one side that is giving Yulian doggy in recent times.”

While the claims haven’t been confirmed by Yul or any official family source, the post has reignited public conversation about Yul’s controversial marriage to Judy Austin and his strained relationship with his first wife, May Edochie.

A Quick Recap of the Yul–Judy Saga

Back in April 2022, Yul Edochie shocked fans when he publicly introduced Judy Austin as his second wife — and revealed they had already welcomed a child together.

The announcement sent social media into a frenzy and reportedly caused a rift in the Edochie household. Yul’s first wife, May, later filed for divorce in August 2023, demanding ₦100 million in damages from Judy for alleged adultery.

The couple’s son with Judy was born on November 21, 2021, months before the actor made the relationship public.

What’s Next for Yul?

As of now, Yul Edochie hasn’t reacted to Stanley Ontop’s latest allegations. The actor has, however, maintained a strong online presence, frequently posting motivational videos and spiritual messages on his social media pages.

Many fans believe Yul may address the fresh rumors soon — either through his YouTube channel or an Instagram Live session, as he’s known to do when controversy strikes.

For now, the alleged “family disownment” remains unverified, but it’s already dominating entertainment conversations across Nigeria’s social media space.
