Mr. Governor,
I, Dr. Ugochukwu Morah, warmly congratulate you on your resounding re-election as the Executive Governor of Anambra State. Your victory is a testament to the trust and confidence the good people of Anambra have in your visionary leadership, intellectual depth, and uncommon commitment to building a livable, prosperous, and smart homeland.
As you embark on this second tenure, may it be one of all-round impact, a season where your people-oriented policies yield measurable prosperity across every community and sector. It is my humble counsel that this term be dedicated to maximizing the multiplier effect of your well-conceived policies, ensuring that the economic wellbeing of Ndi Anambra reflects the progress already evident in infrastructure, education, technology, and governance.
Particularly, I encourage the launch of a statewide agricultural guarantee initiative, where the government partners with cooperatives and private investors to ensure assured markets for farmers’ produce. This can be linked to regional and continental opportunities under the African Continental Free Trade Agreement (AfCFTA), allowing Anambra to emerge as a key agro-export hub in the South East and beyond. Such a scheme will not only stabilize rural incomes but also stimulate agro-industrial value chains and youth employment.
Furthermore, I urge a thoughtful reassessment of the welfare of judges and an efficient implementation of the criminal justice system. A fair, well-motivated, and independent judiciary remains the cornerstone of law, order, and investor confidence; essential pillars for sustainable economic and social growth.
Mr. Governor, as history has shown, second terms define legacies. I trust that with your renowned intellect, discipline, and foresight, this will be the tenure that consolidates your vision of transforming Anambra into a model subnational economy in Africa.
Once again, congratulations, Mr. Governor.
May God grant you wisdom, health, and divine direction as you continue to serve our dear state.
Long live Anambra State.
Long live the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Respectfully,
Dr. Ugochukwu Morah
