His Excellency, Senator Monday Okpebholo, the Executive Governor of Edo State, was recently honoured with a distinguished award by the organisers of the AfroEuropa Gala Night, in recognition of his outstanding leadership and transformative work in Edo State.
Also honoured was Dr. Loretta Ogboro-Okor, the esteemed Director-General of the Edo State Diaspora Agency, for her remarkable contributions to diaspora engagement and development.
Both His Excellency and Dr. Ogboro-Okor were unavoidably absent at the ceremony, as they were hosting a delegation of investors from Germany in Edo State. I, Rose Peter Graham, representing the Edo State Diaspora Agency, had the distinct privilege of receiving the awards on their behalf.
All Edo sons and daughters take immense pride in the visionary accomplishments of His Excellency and the dynamic leadership team driving progress across the state. We stand firmly with him in advancing the laudable initiatives for which he continues to be recognised.
