The ongoing rift between actress Regina Daniels’ family and her estranged husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, has deepened after Regina’s sister-in-law accused a policeman—allegedly sent by the senator—of attempting to arrest her husband, Sweezy.
In a post shared on social media, she recounted that the officer initially posed as a potential house buyer before suddenly trying to detain Sweezy. According to her, the officer struck up a brief conversation, asked for her husband’s name, and then tried to arrest him without explanation.
She further alleged that the same officer had earlier attempted to arrest Regina Daniels’ elder sister, but the situation drew the attention of bystanders, leading to a large crowd gathering at the scene.
The woman claimed the officer was unable to provide a valid reason for the arrest when confronted by witnesses.
This development adds another layer to the tense standoff between the Daniels family and Senator Nwoko, following earlier accusations of intimidation and harassment made by Regina’s brother, Sweezy, and their mother, Rita Daniels.
As of the time of this report, Senator Ned Nwoko has not publicly commented on the latest allegation.
