Nollywood actress Doris Ogala has accused Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan of allegedly manufacturing false evidence against Senate President Godswill Akpabio.
In a series of social media posts, Ogala claimed she possesses voice recordings and financial documents which, according to her, show that Akpoti recruited and paid individuals to make false statements aimed at damaging Akpabio’s reputation.
Ogala said her intention is to “set the record straight,” insisting that Akpabio — not Akpoti — is the real victim in the ongoing controversy. She challenged the senator to pursue legal action if the claims are untrue and vowed to release what she described as concrete evidence to the public.
The accusations are tied to the earlier sexual harassment allegations made by Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan against Akpabio. The senator, who was previously suspended by the Senate for six months, is currently facing a ₦200 billion defamation suit filed by Akpabio over those claims.
In her post, Ogala wrote that Akpoti was fully aware of past interactions between them and warned her against portraying herself as a victim. She alleged a pattern of intimidation and bullying, stating that she would expose everything she knows.
Ogala further claimed she has detailed documentation, including voice recordings, bank details and transaction records, which she says show how two individuals were allegedly recruited and financially induced to lie against Akpabio. She also alleged that meetings were held in Maitama, Abuja, during the early stages of the plan.
She concluded by insisting she would not tell any lies and dared Akpoti to take the matter to court once the evidence is made public.
