Global music icon Beyoncé has officially become a billionaire.

According to Forbes, the 44-year-old superstar’s net worth has now crossed the $1 billion mark, following the massive success of her Cowboy Carter era. Her 2024 album Cowboy Carter and the accompanying 2025 world tour played a major role in the milestone, with the tour alone grossing over $407 million.

Forbes reports that Beyoncé earned an estimated $148 million in 2025, driven by the tour, new commercial deals, and expanding business ventures. Her previous net worth estimate stood at $780 million.

The mother of three has long been a dominant force in music and entertainment. She rose to fame in the late 1990s as a member of Destiny’s Child, one of the best-selling girl groups of all time, before launching a hugely successful solo career with her 2003 debut album, Dangerously in Love. To date, Beyoncé has sold over 200 million records worldwide.

Known for her high-energy performances and groundbreaking stage productions, her 2023 Renaissance World Tour grossed $579 million across 56 shows, making it one of the highest-grossing tours in music history. Her Cowboy Carter Tour further broke boundaries, especially within country music, debuting at No. 1 with hit songs like Texas Hold ’Em.

Beyond music, Beyoncé’s business ventures have significantly boosted her wealth. She co-founded Ivy Park in 2016, later regaining full ownership in 2022, and launched luxury haircare brand Cécred in 2024, which reportedly sold out quickly and is projected to generate around $100 million.

Her husband, business mogul and rapper Jay-Z, is estimated to be worth $2.5 billion, pushing the couple’s combined fortune to over $4 billion.

Beyoncé now becomes the fifth musician to reach billionaire status, joining Jay-Z, Taylor Swift, Rihanna, and Bruce Springsteen.
