The Presiding Bishop of Living Faith Church Worldwide (LFC), Dr. David Olaniyi Oyedepo, has again made it clear that partisan politics has no place in his life, no matter the financial temptation.

Speaking during the impartation service at the church’s annual convocation, Shiloh 2025, the renowned cleric said politics is completely outside his divine assignment.

“If you give me $1 billion to join politics, I won’t, because it’s off my course,” Oyedepo declared.

He used the opportunity to remind worshippers of the importance of staying committed to their God-given purpose, stressing that real influence comes from operating within one’s calling. According to him, believers are meant to “rule their world” by aligning with God’s plan for their lives.

Reflecting on Nigeria’s current challenges, Oyedepo recalled a warning he issued in 2015. “In 2015, I warned the church that trouble was coming. Didn’t trouble come?” he asked.

He concluded by saying the world is “groaning in darkness” and eagerly awaiting the manifestation of the children of God. Drawing examples from biblical figures like Joseph and Daniel, the bishop expressed confidence that God’s end-time army will soon rise with solutions to national and global crises.
