Senior Pastor of Dominion City Churches Worldwide, Pastor David Ogbueli, has drawn attention online after a video surfaced showing him admonishing his instrumentalists and choristers during a church service.
In the clip, Pastor Ogbueli is seen addressing the instrumentalists publicly, criticizing them for not knowing when to stop playing their instruments. He cautioned them on the need for sensitivity and order during moments he described as sacred in God’s presence.
While correcting them, the cleric referenced what he claimed to have witnessed in heaven, using it to stress the seriousness of worship.
“You need to see how heaven operates. I’ve been there three times. You don’t see this nonsense,” he said.
According to him, during such moments in heaven, everyone is in deep reverence before God.
“At that moment, everybody is on the floor, including the twenty-four elders. You know what’s shocking? Jesus, who sits at the right hand of God, comes down. He’s on the floor, prostrated,” Pastor Ogbueli added.
He went on to warn the instrumentalists that further lapses could attract disciplinary action, including a six-month suspension from their duties.
The video has since sparked mixed reactions online, with viewers debating his comments and approach.
