The Super Eagles held a closed-door training session in Rabat on Monday as preparations intensified for their AFCON semi-final showdown against host nation Morocco.
According to the team’s media officer, Promise Efoghe, the session was kept private to allow head coach Eric Chelle carry out detailed tactical work away from public and media scrutiny.
The training took place at the Complexe Mohammed VI in Rabat.
Efoghe added that the media will be allowed access to the opening 15 minutes of Tuesday’s training session before the team returns to closed tactical drills.
Nigeria are aiming to reach their second AFCON final since winning the tournament in 2013, having finished as runners-up at the last edition in Ivory Coast.
The semi-final encounter between Nigeria and Morocco will be played at the Prince Moulay Hassan Stadium in Rabat on Wednesday.
