ROSE PETER GRAHAM GOT HONOURED BY A WOMAN WHO MADE A DIFFERENCE
  Friendly and engaging:
Great to meet Sarah Jones MP after her surgery and have a meaningful discussion!

A letter arrived from the House of Commons, and as I unfolded it, a thrill of excitement ran through me. Sarah Jones MP, the representative for my area, would be holding her surgery on February 14th. While others were planning candlelit dinners and dreamy Valentine’s rendezvous, I had a different kind of date in mind—one of gratitude and appreciation.

This meeting was more than just a formality for me. The last three months of 2024 had been some of the most challenging of my life. A single wrong decision had turned my world upside down, leaving me desperately searching for a way forward. In the midst of that storm, I reached out for help. Though I initially contacted another MP, since I was no longer in her constituency, she directed me to Sarah Jones MP. That introduction turned out to be a lifeline.

Sarah Jones and her team stepped in without hesitation. They were efficient, compassionate, and unwavering in their support. Their consistent follow-ups, genuine concern, and proactive approach helped me find some stability in a time when everything felt uncertain.

So, on February 14th, I didn’t just attend her surgery—I came bearing flowers, a small token of appreciation for the kindness and diligence that had made such a difference in my life. Her team’s reaction was heartwarming; they were delighted to receive such personal gratitude. And, as it turns out, even a formidable female politician enjoys a good selfie moment!

That day, while others were caught up in romance, I was celebrating resilience, support, and the power of public service. Sarah Jones MP isn’t just a politician to me—she’s my favorite politician in the UK. And I couldn’t have imagined a more meaningful way to spend Valentine’s Day.
