A mild drama played out in the Nigerian Senate recently when Senate President Godswill Akpabio posed an unexpected question to his colleague, Senator Sani Musa, who represents Niger East Senatorial District.

During the plenary session, Senator Akpabio asked Senator Musa to define the word “harmonize”—a seemingly simple request that caught the lawmaker off guard.

Visibly startled, Senator Musa struggled to provide a definition and eventually returned to his seat without offering a response, drawing murmurs and amusement from the chamber.
